As a Security Officer Hospital Campus in West Palm Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, work collaboratively with your team, and lead with integrity in a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with staff and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to regulate entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, offering directions and assistance to visitors and staff when appropriate.
• Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or security-related issues, while maintaining visible presence throughout assigned areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in and/or around a hospital morgue.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
