Intake Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Intake Attorney in Oakland, CA. The successful candidate will engage and sign clients in areas such as wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, catastrophic injury, workplace retaliation and harassment, unpaid wages, and wrongful termination. Duties Determine the viability of potential cases. Promote the firm's strengths and manage client expectations. Communicate with clients regarding concerns and case progression, including nights and weekends. Travel to meet and sign clients. Guide potential clients through the intake process. Requirements At least two years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury or employment law. Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar. Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred. Strong sales skills with a proven ability to close. Empathetic yet persuasive communication style. Familiarity with pre-litigation and litigation processes in personal injury and employment law. Ability to travel and work weekends or be on-call as needed. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California State Bar License. Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in case management software.
