We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Purchaser who understands the mechanics of construction logistics. If you are a supply chain professional who loves negotiating the best deals, optimizing inventory, and keeping major job sites running like clockwork, our client offers a stable, high-energy environment built for your success.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Material Procurement: Source and purchase large-scale commercial flooring materials (carpet tile, LVT, sheet vinyl, ceramics, adhesives) and specialized tools based on project estimates and takeoffs.
• Long-Term Process Oversight: Seamlessly manage several long-term procurement, fabrication, and shipping processes at once , tracking factory lead times and transport schedules to ensure continuous material delivery to active job sites without any project interruption.
• Vendor Management & Negotiation: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with global and domestic manufacturing vendors, continuously negotiating bulk pricing, payment terms, and freight logistics to optimize company margins.
• Purchase Order (PO) Management: Issue, track, and reconcile high-volume purchase orders, verifying that incoming delivery tickets and vendor invoices perfectly match estimated quantities and agreed-upon pricing.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner closely with Estimators, Project Managers, and Warehouse Supervisors to adjust delivery schedules dynamically based on evolving on-site installation timelines.

The essential functions of this role include:
