Description of Work Prepare monthly fiscal reports and monitor expenditures for program areas. Review financial records and apply accounting principles to various transactions. Post entries to the general ledger and prepare adjustments to correct or close accounts. Monitor funds, reconcile balances, and correct issues during transaction processing. Develop and evaluate invoices and fiscal reports for Drug & Alcohol and System of Care programs. Communicate with providers and staff to ensure compliance with contracts and grant requirements. Work Schedule and Additional Information Full-time employment. Work hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday‑Friday, with 60‑minute lunch. May involve overnight travel or out‑of‑county travel for meetings or training, and irregular hours including evenings, weekends or holidays. No telework option. Starting salary may be non‑negotiable in some cases. Requirements and Eligibility Two years as a Fiscal Technician and six college credits in accounting; or Five years of bookkeeping experience and six college credits in accounting; or Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business‑related associate’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or One year of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business‑related bachelor’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting. Must meet the PA residency requirement. (See policy link.) Must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements Pass a background investigation. Conditional offer of employment requires a drug screening. Position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Conditional offer of employment requires submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI fingerprint clearance.
