❤️ What Does an In-Home Caregiver Do?

Your role is to help clients live safely, comfortably, and as independently as possible in their own homes.

Depending on the needs of your client, your day may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and other personal care
• Helping with transfers and mobility
• Preparing meals
• Completing light housekeeping
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Offering reminders and assistance with daily routines
• Helping clients stay active and engaged
• Providing dependable support clients and families can feel good about

Sometimes the most important thing you’ll do is simply show up, listen, and be there.

✅ What You’ll Need

• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening
• Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required
• Experience with transfers, gait belts, or Hoyer lifts is a plus
