The Delivery Driver is responsible for making deliveries to area customers starting at 1:30pm or 5pm./ppstrongJob Summary:/strong The Route Driver is the face of the company and must always project a professional and positive image of Caruso while maintaining and building excellent customer relationships. This person is responsible for the safe operation of a motor vehicle and safely pick up and drop off items to customers so that the customer is given an excellent service experience. This person must maintain compliance with all company policies/procedures and DOT regulations./ppMust have at least 12 months of verifiable 18ft-26ft box truck driving experience in the last 3 years./ppMust be able to rotate weekends./ppstrongDuties Responsibilities (Essential Functions):/strong/pulliOperate a company provided CMV./liliDeliver products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner./liliFollows routes and time schedule./liliLoad, unload and deliver to customer specifications and obtain required customer sign offs./liliEstablish and maintain outstanding relationships with customers./liliReview and verify invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy./liliCompletes DVIRs (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report)/liliFollows safety and lifting protocols during deliveries./liliMaintains delivery logs and records./liliFollow DOT regulations and safety standards./li/ulpstrongRequirements:/strong 1. Must be at least 21 years of age. 2. Must have at least 12 months of verifiable 18ft-26ft box truck driving experience in the last 3 years. 3. A good driving record including none of the following:/pulliReckless driving/liliDUI/OMVI/liliHit and Run/liliExcessive Speed as defined by DOT (15+ miles over)/liliNo Preventable accidents./liliNo more than two moving violations within the last 24 months./li/ulp4. Ability to lift 50 pounds. 5. Ability to work and drive in all types of weather. 6. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. 7.
