Title: Associate Attorney (Hybrid)

Salary: $125,000–160,000 BASE annually, based on experience + an unlimited annual bonus

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Associate Attorney who is results-oriented, proactive, accountable, and genuinely invested in being part of a team. This new addition to the team will be a proactive problem-solver who can work independently without micromanagement in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 70–110 personal injury cases in pre-litigation and litigation
• Develop case strategy and proactively move cases toward the best possible outcomes
• Maintain proactive communication with clients to ensure they understand their case status and strategy
• Draft and review demands, pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
• Conduct and defend depositions and attend mediations, court hearings, settlement conferences, and other proceedings
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and defense counsel to maximize client recovery
• Identify potential issues, risks, and opportunities and address them efficiently
• Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, legal assistants, and other attorneys to ensure cases move efficiently and deadlines are met
• Use AI, technology, and firm systems to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality and consistency of legal work
• Proactively anticipate case needs and project future results based on case maturity, rather than waiting to be told what needs to happen next
• Work within established KPIs and take ownership of achieving measurable results

Requirements:

• A JD + an active California Bar license
• 1+ year of personal injury experience
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and sense of ownership/accountability
• The ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing deadlines
• An understanding of how to track, and work toward KPIs and measurable results
• A strong understanding of both the importance of results and the importance of culture
• An ability to communicate clearly and effectively to keep cases moving forward
• Open to learning and using AI tools and other technology to improve efficiency

Bonus Experience:

• Spanish speaking
• A Florida Bar license
• Experience with Litify and/or Eve
• Experience using Microsoft Teams
