Property Manager

Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day operations, resident satisfaction, lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management, property P&L, and marketing. Ensure client expectations and customer service excellence. Recruit, interview, provide feedback, and hire staff. Create a climate where associates thrive through shared vision, coaching, and development. Execute strategic marketing to attract and retain residents. Understand operations guidelines within the property management agreement. Respond to resident complaints, serve as liaison to residents and corporate office regarding maintenance and enforcement of rules. Maintain safe records, loss claims, and risk management initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Two to three years of property management experience required. One to two years of direct management experience required. Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required. Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations. Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred. Experience in Yardi Voyager or equivalent system preferred. Skills and Requirements Very strong organizational and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at all levels. Intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite knowledge. Sensitivity to confidential matters required. Ability to work independently, prioritize, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to relay technical concerns with detail and accuracy. English literacy and communication required. General office equipment usage proficiency. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to defuse situations involving angry or difficult individuals.
