We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Specialist to support health initiatives, analyze public health data, and develop programs that improve health outcomes.

The Public Health Specialist will plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate public health programs and initiatives. The role involves analyzing community health needs, supporting disease prevention activities, conducting health education programs, and collaborating with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations.

Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs and interventions.

Assess community health needs and identify public health priorities.

Collect, analyze, and interpret public health and demographic data.

Monitor disease trends, health indicators, and emerging public health concerns.

Support disease prevention, health promotion, and wellness initiatives.

Conduct community outreach and public health education activities.

Develop educational materials, reports, presentations, and program documentation.

Collaborate with healthcare providers, public health agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders.

Assist with disease surveillance, outbreak investigations, and emergency preparedness activities.

Monitor program performance and recommend improvements based on outcomes and data.

Maintain accurate program records and ensure data quality.

Support grant-funded public health projects and reporting requirements.

Ensure compliance with applicable public health regulations, policies, and privacy requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Community Health, or a related field.

Master of Public Health (MPH) or related graduate degree preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in public health, community health, healthcare, or a related field.

Knowledge of public health principles, disease prevention, health promotion, and community health practices.

Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting health-related data.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and multidisciplinary teams.

Experience with epidemiological surveillance and disease prevention programs.

Knowledge of community health assessment and program evaluation.

Familiarity with CDC, state, and local public health guidelines.

Experience with statistical or analytical tools such as Excel, SAS, SPSS, R, or Python.

Experience with health education and community outreach.

Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and confidentiality requirements.

Experience preparing public health reports, presentations, and grant documentation.

Emergency preparedness and outbreak-response experience is a plus.

The role may involve a combination of office-based work, community outreach, healthcare facility visits, and occasional field activities. Some evening, weekend, or emergency-response work may be required depending on public health needs.
