CNC Machinist (Large-Parts) | 2nd Shift

CNC Machinist (Large-Parts)

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This is a contract to permanent / direct placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent as well as 2-3 years of experience with CNC lathe / turning, CNC Swiss.

Principle duties include:

Setting up and operating CNC machining centers
Performing machine adjustments and troubleshooting controllers / machines / processes
Working from blueprint requirements
Selecting tools, setting feeds and speeds
Performing inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
Operates overhead cranes for large-part manufacturing
Maintains a clean work environment and shop floor (tools, equipment, machines, etc.)
Re-orders tools as needed

Requirements:

2-3 years of experience with CNC milling, CNC lathe / turning, CNC Swiss
High school diploma or GED or vocational school training
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
Perform inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools
