Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Sales Representative to focus on generating new business through outside sales. This role requires a proactive individual skilled in building relationships, identifying client needs, and closing sales to grow the agency's customer base.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outside sales to generate new business opportunities and bring in new clients.
• Identify and approach potential clients to discuss insurance options tailored to their needs.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage referrals and repeat business.
• Complete and submit new business applications and ensure smooth onboarding for new clients.

Compensation

• Base salary of $42,000-$50,000 base per year + commission on new business policies + bonus opportunities
• Commission on each new business policy brought into the agency
• Additional bonus opportunities based on individual and agency performance
• $500 sign-on bonus for P&C and Life Licensed Insurance Professionals.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in outside sales, customer service, or a related field (mortgage, financial services, etc.) is preferred.
• Skills: Strong sales skills, proficient in computer and phone systems, effective problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation. Community engagement, centers of influence developed. Relationship based selling.
• Licensing: Preference for candidates with a P&C and Life license. If unlicensed, must obtain P&C license prior to start date and Life licensing within 60 days (agency will reimburse the cost).
