- 24-week assignment in the Gross Room
- Extensive experience in:
- Grossing small biopsies and simple routine specimens under supervision
- Embedding and microtomy of all surgical specimens
- Education:
- Associate's Degree in Science and completion of an accredited Histology program
- OR Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Licensure/Certification:
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
- OR Certification as a Histology Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist from NYS DOE
- 2-3 years of histology experience, specifically with biopsy specimens and dermatopathology
