About the Role:
Little Academy of Humble is looking for a passionate and dedicated Cook to join our team in Humble, TX! In this role, you'll play a vital part in nourishing young minds by preparing healthy, delicious meals for our students each day. If you love cooking and have a heart for children, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks for children daily
• Follow established menus, recipes, and portion guidelines to ensure consistency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times
• Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Adhere to all food safety, handling, and storage regulations
• Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special nutritional needs
• Coordinate meal timing to align with classroom and school schedules

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a kitchen environment preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals for large groups
• Experience working in a childcare, school, or institutional kitchen is a plus
• Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent daily schedule
• Caring, team-oriented attitude with a passion for serving children
