About Us
Optimum Performance Center is a fast-paced multidisciplinary healthcare clinic providing Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, and Rehabilitation services. We are looking for a dependable, professional, and highly organized Front Desk Associate who takes initiative, enjoys helping patients, and can confidently manage a busy medical office.
This is a position for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and takes pride in doing things correctly without constant supervision..
Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and compassion.
- Answer and manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments accurately.
- Verify insurance benefits, authorizations, and patient eligibility.
- Collect copays, balances, and process patient payments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in our EMR.
- Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Monitor schedules and identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Keep the front office organized, clean, and running efficiently.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years of front desk, medical receptionist, or healthcare administrative experience.
- Experience verifying insurance benefits and obtaining authorizations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing situations.
- Experience with AdvancedMD or another EMR system.
