Role Overview
Apply your hand anatomy expertise to annotate image and video data that helps train advanced AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on precise, protocol-driven labeling of hand and finger landmarks across a wide range of poses, orientations, perspectives, and object interactions. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate hand and finger landmarks using MediaPipe-style hand topology, following strict guidelines and specified tolerance thresholds.
- Identify and label anatomical points including the wrist; MCP, PIP, and DIP joints; fingertips; and thumb-specific CMC, MCP, IP, and thumb-tip landmarks.
- Use visual reasoning to accurately infer partially occluded or difficult-to-see joints and landmarks.
- Analyze varied image and video data to produce consistent, high-quality annotations.
- Review visual feedback, identify deviations from requirements, and make targeted corrections to maintain quality at scale.
Qualifications
- Strong anatomy expertise, particularly hand and finger anatomy.
- High attention to detail and the ability to follow defined protocols and guidelines precisely.
- Visual reasoning skills for complex hand positions and object interactions.
- Experience or aptitude in annotation, image and video analysis, and quality assurance.
Work Terms
- Remote independent contractor engagement.
Compensation
- $15 to $80 per hour.
