Operations Customer Service Rep

Job Title

Ensures excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing of orders, communication with customers, and coordination of operational duties.

Role And Responsibilities

Solicits outbound freight in order to manage network balance while maintaining a high level of service. Interacts with customers and addresses any concerns or issues. Forecasts potential customer needs and proactively works to address those needs. Responds promptly to customer inquiries and request. Processes customer orders with required information to properly pick up and deliver goods. Schedules all loading and unloading appointments. Tracks all shipments while under dispatch from pick up to deliver. Travels as needed. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships to meet or exceed customer expectations. Receives and carries out instructions. Manages regular and predictable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Performs work requiring advanced knowledge while consistently exercising discretion and judgment. Solves problems and makes decisions independently. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree; or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times. Ability to travel.

Certificates, Licenses And Registrations

Valid driver's license.
