This is a broad leadership opportunity for an experienced insurance accounting professional looking to play a key role in the finance function and work closely with executive leadership on both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.The opportunity:You’ll lead the Corporate Accounting function while overseeing Premium Accounting, taking ownership of:GAAP and STAT monthly, quarterly and annual financial reportingExternal audit management and regulatory reportingReinsurance accounting and recoverablesBudgeting, forecasting and FP&ACash flow forecasting, treasury and tax oversightCost centre budgeting and business partnering with operational leadersLeading, mentoring and developing the accounting teamSupporting strategic initiatives alongside senior leadershipWe’re looking for someone with:7+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years within P&C insuranceStrong knowledge of GAAP, STAT and regulatory reportingExperience leading audits, financial reporting and FP&APrevious people leadership experienceCPA preferredA proactive mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders across the businessIf you’re an experienced insurance accounting leader looking for your next move, or know someone who could be a good fit, I’d be happy to have a confidential conversation.
