Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse for the 2026-27 academic year, supporting students and the school health office across two nearby sites. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team to ensure student health, safety, and well-being while enjoying a diverse, engaging caseload.

Key Experience & Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN/LVN license
• Experience in a pediatric or school setting preferred
• Flexibility to travel between two school locations (both within a 10-minute drive)
• Confidence in supporting students with complex medical needs such as spina bifida and diabetes
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments, providing 1:1 or PCA coverage when required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional, compassionate, and organized

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist the primary school nurse with daily health office functions, medication administration, minor first aid, and documentation
• Deliver individualized health support for three students: two with spina bifida and one managing diabetes
• Fill in as substitute 1:1 or personal care assistant (PCA) staff for these students as needed
• Communicate closely with educators, families, and health professionals to maintain student care plans
• Contribute to a safe, supportive environment and provide prompt interventions during health incidents
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality
