Non Medical In Home Caregiver Positions

At Senior HomeCare of Tucson, we offer personalized in-home care services that help older adults maintain independence and comfort in their own homes. As a Non Medical In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to clients in their homes.

Location: Oro Valley, Marana, Catalina, Saddlebrook, Catalina Foothills and surrounding areas of NW Tucson

Job Type: PART TIME AND FULL TIME positions

Immediate Openings for the following:

Day Shifts (High Demand)

7 AM-1 PM | 8 AM-12 PM | 9 AM-1 PM | 1 PM-5 PM | 1 PM-7 PM | 2 PM-6 PM

Evenings

4 PM-9 PM | 5 PM-8/9 PM | 6 PM-9 PM

Weekends

Friday, Saturday & Sunday shifts available with +$3/hour differential on all weekend hours.

Overnights

7 PM-7 AM (Experience is Required for overnights) 12 hour shifts with prior experience with overnight

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing, and toileting.

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping including laundry and etc.

• Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities to enhance their emotional well-being.

• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.

• Support clients with mobility, including assistance with walking and transfers.

• Help with errands and transportation to appointments or social activities as needed.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

• Maintain clear and accurate client records and reporting any changes in client condition to office management.

• Comply with all policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality and promoting the dignity of clients.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred but not required.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families.

• Ability to follow care plans and instructions in relation to client care.

• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.

• Ability to pass background checks.

• Flexible availability, especially for day and weekend shifts.

• Reliable transportation to travel within the designated service areas. Need vehicle for transportation and errands for clients during shift.

• CPR Certification, Current TB Test results, and Finger Print Clearance card required for all caregivers.
