Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience with counseling, evaluations, and IEP processes for middle school-aged students preferred
• Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to middle school students
• Conduct initial assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations
• Chair CSE (Committee on Special Education) meetings and serve as a resource to staff and families
• Support classroom teams and contribute to positive behavior intervention plans
• Deliver crisis support and facilitate de-escalation strategies when needed
