Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Antigo, Wisconsin. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care within a hospital setting, assisting with a variety of surgical procedures. The role requires flexibility, resilience, and strong work ethic, with responsibilities including supporting multiple surgical specialties, floating to various affiliated facilities, and performing downtime tasks as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 32 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross), ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross), and at least 2 years of OR experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• On-Call and Holiday Rotation: Every 4th weekend on call; weeknight call dependent on weekend rotation with a response time of 30 minutes. Holiday rotation is every 4th holiday.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to affiliated facilities including Merrill, Wausau, Stanley, and Medford.
• Additional Information:
  • Able to support orthopedic, general surgery, GI, pain management, obstetrics/gynecology, and cataract procedures (experience in these areas preferred).
  • Comfortable performing downtime tasks, maintaining a flexible schedule, and managing change effectively.
  • Scrub colors provided.
  • Position start date is 08/10/2026, with a contract length of 13 weeks.
  • The candidate must adhere to facility policies, including mask requirements during flu season if declining vaccination.
