Financial Analyst

Our client, a growing South Jersey manufacturer, is seeking a Financial Analyst to partner with leadership across finance, operations, engineering, supply chain, and sales. Rather than supporting multiple clients, you'll become a trusted business partner within one organization, helping drive profitability, improve reporting, and influence key business decisions. What You'll Be Doing Support annual budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and long-range financial planning. Analyze operating results and explain key variances to management. Build financial models, dashboards, and reporting packages that provide actionable business insights. Evaluate product costs, gross margins, and profitability across product lines, customers, and manufacturing facilities. Analyze labor, material, overhead, scrap, and production variances to identify operational improvement opportunities. Review BOMs and manufacturing data to ensure accurate standard costing. Perform pricing, margin, and inventory analyses that directly impact business performance. Develop ROI analyses for capital investments and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Sales to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance. Help enhance reporting, automate processes, and improve data visibility across the organization. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of experience in public accounting with manufacturing clients or in financial analysis. Experience serving manufacturing clients in public accounting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of financial statements, variance analysis, and business performance reporting. Exposure to manufacturing environments, inventory, or cost accounting is a significant plus. Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets. Experience working with ERP systems; Microsoft Business Central experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to operational leaders. Preferred Qualifications CPA, CMA, or MBA. Background in capital project analysis, standard costing, inventory controls, or BOM management. #J-18808-Ljbffr FirstPRO
