Project Accountant

Position Description

• Project setup and closeout
• Prepare customer billings and support collections efforts.
• Monitor projects for contract compliance
• Analyze monthly Work-in-Progress results
• Prepare project financial reports
• Maintain Cost structure and data integrity
• Support Project Managers on accounting and reporting issues
• Work with AR/AP on cash and collections
• Assist in audits as needed
• Assist with financials relating to inventor and subcontractors
• Certified Payroll
• Other responsibilities as needed or assigned

Position Requirements

• 0-2 years experience in Construction or related field
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
• CPA experience not required, but a plus
• Exposure to Job Costing and Percent Completion/Work-in-Process is required
• Experience with Viewpoint Vista is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other related MS Office products
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-starter, detail-oriented, and ability to work with minimal supervision
