We partner with Brown departments, centers, institutes, and schools to develop degree and non-degree programs, and to support the recruitment, retention, and placement success of master’s students, including traditional, non-traditional, and professional students.Responsibilities:The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Brown University seeks a Senior Paid Media Strategist to join its marketing team. This role leads the strategy, execution and analysis of paid advertising initiatives across a broad and expanding portfolio of master’s, certificate and executive education programs.Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Senior Paid Media Strategist owns the paid media function for the program portfolio in support of enrollment goals, including campaign planning, budget management, ongoing optimization and reporting. This role partners closely with team members to develop high-performing creative and messaging and ensure accurate tracking, attribution and data integrity.A core focus of the role is translating campaign data into actionable insights. The Senior Paid Media Strategist develops and maintains KPI-driven dashboards and delivers clear, data-informed recommendations to program leadership to continuously improve outcomes.The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Brown University seeks a Senior Paid Media Strategist to join its marketing team. This role leads the strategy, execution and performance optimization of paid advertising initiatives across a broad and expanding portfolio of master’s, certificate and executive education programs.Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Senior Paid Media Strategist is independently responsible for the planning, management and optimization of paid media campaigns in direct support of enrollment objectives, including budget oversight and channel performance. This role partners closely with the Visual Designer and Communications Specialist to implement high-performing ad creative and messaging and collaborates with the SPS CRM administrator to ensure accurate data tracking and lead source attribution.A core focus of this role is performance analytics and reporting. The Senior Paid Media Strategist maintains and evolves dashboards aligned to core KPIs and delivers regular performance insights to program leadership, translating campaign results into clear actionable recommendations that improve outcomes.Qualifications:RequiredBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 5-7 years of paid media or performance marketing experienceDemonstrated experience managing multi-channel campaigns and budgets at scaleExpertise with platforms such as Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and RedditStrong fluency in analytics tools (Tableau, GA4, platform dashboards)Experience leveraging CRM systems (e.g., Slate, Salesforce) for attribution and funnel analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience designing and evaluating A/B testing initiativesPreferredExperience in higher education marketing, graduate and/or professional educationAgency or agency-side experience a plusFamiliarity with accessibility considerations for digital contentExperience utilizing Adobe Express or other web-based design softwareFamiliarity with project management tools and workflowSalary Grade:10Additional Information:Applicants are asked to include a resume and cover letter.All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.Remote candidates in states Brown is registered to work in may be considered.The School of Professional Studies supports the Master's Ceremony and related events as part of Commencement weekend.
