Job Overview

MIG Welder | Manchester, IA

3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11pm - 7:30am

$21+/Hour, Based on Experience

Additional 15% Shift Premium

Responsible for assembling products using hand-held welding and flame-cutting equipment to join metal components following assembly instructions and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and part lists
Positions parts and assemblies by using templates or reading measurements
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit
Corrects welds by chipping and grinding
Conduct self inspections
Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions
Preventative maintenance on machinery
Document action items
Maintain safe and clean work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

HS Diploma or equivalent
At least one year welding experience
Proven ability to weld using Mig hand-held welder
Basic understanding of shop math
Ability to read and understand blue prints and specifications
Ability to work overtime
Longevity in prior work history
