Registered Nurse - IR/Special Procedures

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures to provide high-quality patient care during complex procedures. The role involves supporting diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining clinical excellence throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patient health status and prepare them for interventional radiology procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during procedures by setting up and managing all necessary equipment.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and provide post-procedure care, ensuring prompt recovery.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient responses, and clinical observations.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active RN license with clinical experience in IR or Special Procedures preferred.
  
  
• 
  Strong understanding of radiologic procedures, patient monitoring, and catheter-based interventions.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication skills to coordinate with healthcare teams and educate patients.
  
  
• 
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
  
  
• 
  Minimal compliance requirements; familiarity with safety standards is essential.
