Crane Service Technician

Stewart Engineering & Sales Co. – Serving the United States Stewart Engineering & Sales Co. is seeking a motivated and skilled Overhead Crane Service Technician to join our expanding service department. We specialize in inspection, repair, and modernization of overhead cranes and hoists throughout the United States. Responsibilities Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on overhead cranes and hoists Replace or repair motors, brakes, controls, wire rope, and other lifting components Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in the field Complete detailed service reports and communicate findings with customers Travel to customer sites — primarily throughout Michigan, with occasional travel across the U.S. Requirements Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read schematics and utilize diagnostic tools Reliable, safety-focused, and self-motivated Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Must provide personal hand tools (specialized equipment provided as needed) Experience in crane or industrial maintenance preferred (training provided for the right candidate) Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance and retirement plan Company vehicle for work-related travel Paid training, vacation, and holidays Stable, family-owned company with over 40 years in the industry Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries Civil Engineering #J-18808-Ljbffr Stewart Engineering
