Mid-Level Industrial Security SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in Tukwila, WA. Join our team as an Industrial Security Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in supporting activities within the Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) team. In this exciting position, you will be part of a large security team dedicated to ensuring the safety and integrity of our operations as we embark on innovative projects.This is a position that provides an opportunity for growth in the industrial security field.This individual will work with program personnel and government partners to administer and implement United States (US) Industrial Security Standards as outlined in the National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM), the Department of Defense (DoD) Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Administrative Security Manual, Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual DoDM 5205.07. As an individual contributor, this individual will ensure programmatic security posture is compliant with all applicable regulations.Position Responsibilities:Executes the personnel security lifecycle including initiating and tracking background investigations, reviewing adjudication findings, recommending granting or revoking physical and logical access, maintaining secure personnel recordsConducts assigned Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirementsIdentifies deficiencies and recommends corrective actionCoordinates incident investigations in the event of a security infraction or violationSecures vulnerabilities by conducting employee interviews, and drafting the Management Action Letter. Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirementsProtects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures through development, implementation and administration of an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirementsPerforms Personnel Security processes (works with databases, reviews files, conducts interviews, submittals to customers and schedules briefings) to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for customer and program requirementsConducts security awareness training and education program (e.g., briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and informationPerforms Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirementsPerforms Sub-Contractor Management (e.g., providing contractual requirements and direction, site assistance visits and reviews) to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirementsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI3+ years of experience in Industrial Security3+ years of experience working with MS Office Suite, such as Word, Excel and MS ProjectPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work or military experienceExperience in Physical SecurityExperience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives in the Defense or Aerospace environmentExperience working in one or a combination of the following domains: National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Special Access Program (SAP), and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)Experience communicating with internal and external customersConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
