The Tri-state area's premier electrical contractor is seeking experienced Electrical Mechanics for our commercial division in Souderton, PA. As an Electrical Mechanic, you will play a role in ensuring the successful completion of various commercial electrical projects, overseeing and participating in installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrical work, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute work assignments.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
Proficiency with:
- EMT installation and bending
- MC cable routing
- Termination of receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, and equipment
- Generator and ATS connections (preferred, not mandatory)
- Installation of site lighting, bollard lighting, and underground conduit systems
- Must be familiar with the NEC Code and local amendments
- Ability to perform voltage testing, continuity testing, labeling, and troubleshooting
- Ability to train apprentices and helpers
- Strong time management and accountability
- Must be self-directed, able to follow drawings without micromanagement
- Works well under pressure and in changing field conditions
- Must be punctual and dependable
