Snowflake Data Modeler with Architect Work Location: Wilmington, DE / Buffalo, NY (Onsite) Mode: Full Time Job Description: Snowflake data modeller with architect experience Erwin experience is needed as well 7+ years of experience in data modelling with at least 2+ years working with Snowflake Strong expertise in dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas, third normal form (3NF), and denormalized structures Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models in Snowflake Experience with data modelling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio Translate business requirements into efficient and optimized data structures and schemas Collaborate with data architects and data engineers to align models with ETL/ELT pipelines and integration strategies Define and manage data modelling standards, naming conventions, and metadata documentation Develop data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and data lineage artifacts Ensure data models are optimized for performance, storage, and maintainability in the Snowflake environment Understanding of Azure cloud platforms Partner with BI/Analytics teams to support reporting and dashboarding needs Participate in data governance and data quality efforts across the organization United IT
