- Experience with Epic charting system required


Description:
This position is for an Emergency Room Nurse in a small emergency department.
The patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics.
The facility has an ambulance on-site 24 hours a day for patient transport.
Wound care will be done virtually, and there is no IV team available.
There is no cafeteria available; vending machines will provide meal options.
Components of the orientation will take place at an adjacent facility.
The nurse will care for a maximum of four patients per shift.
This unit uses Epic, Pyxis, SBAR, and Spacelabs for its systems.
Navy blue scrubs are required.
All time off must be finalized at the time of submission.
If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the nurse is expected to work it.
If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the nurse must work both.
If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the nurse is expected to work two of the holidays.
The hospital provides interdisciplinary support from respiratory services and pharmacy.
Experience with arterial line management, central line care, and procedural sedation monitoring is preferred.
There is a possibility of floating to an adjacent facility.
