CNC Grinding Machine Operator – 3rd Shift
BHS Corrugated | Knoxville, TN
BHS Corrugated is hiring a CNC Grinding Machine Operator for our 3rd shift manufacturing team in Knoxville, TN!
We're looking for a hands-on CNC Machinist, Grinding Technician, or experienced Machine Operator with a background in precision machining. If you have experience with FANUC or Siemens controls, OD grinding, or operating industrial machinery, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll DoOperate FANUC-controlled profile grinders and Siemens-controlled OD grinders
Set up machines, adjust tooling, and interpret blueprints
Perform precision inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Assist with manual lathes, polishing equipment, and other shop equipment
Document production and follow safety procedures
1+ years of machining or manufacturing experience , including lathes and grinders
Experience operating CNC machines or industrial grinding equipment
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently on 3rd shift
Flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed
SAP and forklift experience are a plus
