This role offers a unique opportunity to build an accounting team from the ground up.The selected candidate will be hired and trained by the mother company for the first 30 days, then transition to the new company based in Anaheim, CA, starting June 1st.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning, implementing and supervising the company’s financial strategyManaging the company’s financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assetsHandling the company’s transactions and debts and doing cash flow forecastingPerforming the company’s financial auditsFollowing proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectivesMonitoring and analyzing financial accounting dataCreating financial reports based on data analysisMaking recommendations to business stakeholdersRequirementsMinimum 5 years of accounting experienceProficiency in Korean is required (spoken and written)Multicultural background is highly preferredStrong ability to work independently, take initiative, and implement accounting structuresExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsPrevious experience setting up accounting functions for a new or growing company is a plus
