Boyer Children's Clinic is currently seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team! Boyer provides medical, therapy, special education and family services to infants and young children with developmental delays, and their families. For more information, visit Occupational Therapists at Boyer Children's Clinic provide family-centered therapy services to infants and young children with a wide range of developmental needs, including autism, sensory processing differences, neuromuscular conditions, feeding challenges, and developmental delays. Therapists partner closely with caregivers to build strategies that support each child's development and daily participation. This role involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the organization and coordinating with community providers to ensure comprehensive care. Services are delivered in a variety of settings, including client homes, community locations, and via telehealth. Essential Functions Conduct occupational therapy assessments and provide treatment for children in natural environments and via telehealth Collaborate with caregivers to build practical strategies that support development and daily skills Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records, including IFSP-related documentation Coordinate care with other therapists, educators, medical providers, and community partners Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and agency trainings Support Medicaid-related care coordination and administrative requirements Contribute to staff education and professional development through trainings and sharing best practices Position Requirements Education, Licenses, Qualifications and/or Certifications: Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy is required. Previous experience as an occupational therapist working with young children with varying developmental needs is desired. WA State Occupational Therapist license is required. Training or experience with sensory processing differences and how they impact behavior and development in children birth-to-three is desired. Training in neurodiversity affirming practices for children with autism and other neurodivergent characteristics is desired. N.D.T. training and experience in the handling of children with cerebral palsy and the treatment of neuromuscular and developmental problems is desirable. Current First Aid and CPR certification are required. Must possess valid Washington State Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and a reliable means of transportation. Required Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents, staff, co-workers, and physicians. Ability to instruct parents and other persons involved in the handling and management of children with varying and/or complex needs. Ability to pass Washington State DSHS criminal history and background check and FBI fingerprint check. Compensation: $73,049 to $111,566 annually, depending on experience.
