Travel Speech-Language Pathologist - $1,784 per week

Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel opening in Washington, District of Columbia. Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 hours Shift: 8 hours, days Employment type: Travel Responsibilities Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to individual patients. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about disorders and causes. Report progress and status to appropriate parties such as family, teachers, or medical professionals. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. ASHA-SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing. Physical ability to stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before assignment. Travel assignments are for 13 weeks with 40‑hour work weeks.
