Your future role at a glance Location: Milwaukee, WI Facility: Ascension St. Francis Hospital Department: Behavioral Health Schedule: Days | Full-Time How you'll make an impact in this role Conduct patient assessments and establishtherapy treatment goals. Administer individual and group therapy. Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations. Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community. Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure/Certification/Registration: One or more of the following required: Licensed Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Social Worker credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Supervisor credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
