We are looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor for VCA Dallas Animal Specialty Hospital Salary - Up to $35/hour based on experience, Credential Veterinary Technicians or Veterinary Assistants with supervisor experience encouraged to apply Schedule: Full-Time, 4-5 days a week VCA Dallas Animal Specialty Hospital is seeking the next veterinary technician leader for our Emergency Department . We built a new hospital. This position would supervise our emergency team. . With your knowledge, skills, and experience in veterinary medicine, you will have the opportunity to lead/mentor our emergency team to excellence. A Veterinary Technician Supervisor at Dallas Animal Specialty Hospital includes: Manage workflow Manage associate schedules and call-outs Work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospital Deliver quarterly associate performance feedback Qualifications for Veterinary Technician Supervisor: ~+High School Diploma ~ Licensed Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT (preferred) ~Strong Emergency Skills ~ Passion for Veterinary Medicine ~ Professional personal appearance ~ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate medical and administrative tasks ~ Any allergies to animals must be controllable through medication. Visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written directions. Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand, give information in person and over the telephone.
