Quality Technician

Description

• Will be working on the inspection of the different metal parts. The candidate will use a micrometer, caliper, and comparator.

• Will be using a CMM machine for inspection. The candidate will need to program CMM long term. (Will be trained)

• Will take parts from production and run them through the quality process

80% of the day will be inspection and documentation.

15% of the day will be CMM

5% will be more general duties such as cleaning work area and filing paperwork.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST:

• ITAR Compliant

• Know how to use micrometer, caliper.

• Blueprint reading or strong in math.

• Understand tolerances and dimensions.

• Understanding of GD&T using instruments

• Experience with Internal Auditing

PLUS HAVE:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
