Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing best practices
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patient responses and documenting accordingly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout each shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Tennessee or a compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills in fast-paced hospital environments
