Orthopedic Surgeon – Sports Medicine
Our organization is looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a specialization in Sports Medicine to become part of our expanding orthopedic service line. Position Highlights

• Focus on treating sports-related injuries affecting the shoulder, knee, and hip

• Perform arthroscopic procedures such as ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, labral repair, and meniscal surgery

• Ability to develop a well-rounded practice that includes both surgical and non-operative sports medicine

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Surgical Care

• Assess and manage a variety of sports-related orthopedic conditions

• Conduct arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures

• Create personalized treatment plans that incorporate both operative and non-operative care

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care with an emphasis on outcomes and return to activity

Program Development & Growth

• Assist in the growth and enhancement of the sports medicine service line

• Establish referral pathways and community connections to increase patient volume

• Engage in strategic planning for the expansion of orthopedic services and ASC utilization

Collaboration & Care Coordination

• Work closely with primary care physicians and rehabilitation teams

• Coordinate pre- and post-operative care to maximize patient outcomes

• Encourage a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

• Fellowship training in Sports Medicine is required

• Eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina

• Interest in program development and practice growth is preferred
