Orthopedic Surgeon – Specialist in Hip & Knee (Total Joint) Reconstruction

We are on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in Hip and Knee Reconstruction to join our expanding orthopedic service line. This role is pivotal in establishing a high-performing, patient-focused Orthopedic program that emphasizes total joint replacement, surgical excellence, and coordinated, value-driven care.

This position presents a unique chance to contribute to the development of a comprehensive Musculoskeletal Center of Excellence within one of the region's most esteemed physician-led practices.

• Focus exclusively on outpatient care within a physician-led framework, supported by a robust referral network from established primary care providers.

Clinical & Surgical Care

• Assess and manage a wide range of orthopedic conditions, particularly focusing on hip and knee issues.

• Conduct primary and revision total joint arthroplasty surgeries.

• Create personalized treatment plans that incorporate both surgical and non-surgical methods.

• Uphold high standards for surgical outcomes, patient safety, and overall satisfaction.

Program Development & Growth

• Lead the growth and enhancement of the hip and knee service line.

• Collaborate with leadership to develop clinical protocols, care pathways, and quality metrics.

• Engage in strategic initiatives for growth, including the development of new ASC facilities and service expansion.

Care Coordination & Collaboration

• Work in close partnership with primary care physicians, sports medicine specialists, and rehabilitation teams to ensure seamless patient care.

• Collaborate with care teams to enhance pre-operative and post-operative processes.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.

• Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Hip & Knee is preferred.

• Eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina.
