Brokerage Operations Trade Support Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Enter mutual fund orders and trade corrections in an accurate and timely manner to avoid monetary loss.

2. Process mutual fund transfers between contra firms and mutual fund companies.

3. Maintain mutual fund updates to ensure the firm's operating system is set up properly for trading activity.

4. Reconcile differences between customer accounts, firm general ledgers and suspense accounts.

5. Work daily mutual fund reports and provide reconciliation reports to management for review and approval.

6. Process mutual fund networking change requests.

7. Provide support and training to financial advisors, client service associates, and correspondent firms.

8. Field phone calls from mutual fund companies regarding various mutual fund processes.

9. Assist in training other department associates as needed.

10. Review and update departmental policies and procedures on a periodic basis.

11. Adhere to the regulations and guidelines established by Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) and other regulatory bodies.

12. Stay abreast of industry changes.

1. Associate's degree in a business-related field or equivalent education and related training/experience

2. Ability to work in a fast paced, professional team environment independently

3. Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

5. Strong mathematical skills

6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

7. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

The annual base salary for this position is $45,760 -$76,270.
