Location: Hooksett, NH (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a growing team in a customer-facing retail and distribution environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, learning new products, and working in a fast-paced setting. You'll assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email while processing orders, answering product questions, and ensuring a smooth customer experience.

This is not an outbound sales position. Instead, you'll focus on providing excellent customer service, accurately entering orders, and building strong relationships with existing customers. Comprehensive training will be provided, including hands-on instruction with the company's ERP system and product catalog.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone, email, and in person with product inquiries and order requests.
• Accurately enter customer orders into the ERP system, ensuring correct product codes, dimensions, and pricing.
• Provide exceptional customer service while resolving questions and processing requests in a timely manner.
• Learn a wide variety of industrial and metal products to confidently assist customers.
• Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain organized customer records and documentation.
• Collaborate with a small team to support daily operations and deliver a positive customer experience.
• Continuously learn company products, systems, and processes during the onboarding and training period.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, retail, or inside sales experience preferred.
• Experience in industries such as auto parts, hardware, building materials, industrial products, or other mechanical product environments is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with a professional phone and email demeanor.
• Comfortable learning new computer systems and working within an ERP environment.
• Organized with strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work well in a team-oriented environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
