Job Summary
The CT Technologist is a qualified healthcare professional based in Virginia, specializing in computed tomography (CT) imaging within a critical access facility. This role involves performing CT and general radiology procedures for patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality imaging to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ARRT, and Virginia License. Education required: Completion of an American Medical Association accredited Radiology Technology program. Experience: Preferably 3 years as a staff radiologic technologist and 3 years clinical experience as a CT technologist in a hospital setting.
• Schedule: Fridays through Sundays, 6:00 am 6:30 pm, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include performing accurate CT and x-ray procedures, ensuring optimal patient positioning, preparing equipment, administering contrast as ordered, and reporting critical findings.
• Ensures patient safety in accordance with radiation safety measures, infection control policies, and national safety standards.
• Assists physicians with invasive procedures and maintains accurate records in the hospital information system.
• Participates in continuing education to maintain current skills and knowledge.
