Job Details:
Job Title: CT/X-Ray Tech
Location: Luray, VA
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2549.56 - 2677.04
Schedule: 06:00 - 18:30 (Fri, Sat & Sun - 3x12's)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: BLS (AHA only); ARRT and VA License; 3 years of CT and Rad Tech experience
Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate CT and x-ray procedures according to protocol, using optimal techniques to produce quality images for patients of all ages.
• Explain procedures, gather pertinent information, review and confirm with patients; assist with contrast injections as ordered.
• Ensure patient positioning, prepare equipment, and monitor patient condition before, during, and after scanning.
• Adhere to radiation safety measures and all safety and infection control policies.
• Assist physicians with invasive procedures and report critical findings promptly.
