Sr. Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Civil Engineer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects across a range of infrastructure, building, or development environments. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership from concept through construction, ensuring that work is delivered safely, efficiently, sustainably, and in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and project requirements.


Responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing engineering designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, reports, and technical documentation; coordinating multidisciplinary design activities; and overseeing project progress, budgets, schedules, quality, and risk. You will assess site conditions, contribute to feasibility studies and cost estimates, support permitting and approvals, and provide practical engineering solutions to resolve technical challenges. The role will also involve reviewing contractor submissions, responding to requests for information, conducting site inspections, monitoring construction activities, and verifying that completed work meets approved designs and specifications.


You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders, communicating complex technical information clearly and professionally. The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, along with substantial experience delivering civil engineering projects and a strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and construction practices. Professional registration or chartered status is preferred, as is experience with design and project management software. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills are essential, together with the ability to manage competing priorities, mentor junior engineers, and make sound technical decisions. A proactive approach to health and safety, quality assurance, environmental performance, and continuous improvement is expected.
