Field Service Technician

A leading company that provides continuous automated temperature or environmental monitoring to a limitless number of applications in a wide range of industries. From Pharmaceutical to Blood Banking, Biomedical Research to Biotech and Hospitals, this company has become the standard by which other monitoring systems are judged. Their Centron Monitoring System monitors critical parameters such as temperature, humidity, differential pressure, lighting control, carbon dioxide, oxygen, light and air changes per hour. It monitors critical equipment such as stability chambers, refrigerators, freezers, LN2 Tanks, incubators, animal holding rooms, ultra-low freezers, cold rooms and clean rooms. This organization has a long history of hiring military talent and are looking to strategically add Field Service Technicians for several locations. Locations: Albuquerque, New Mexico - 30% Travel Chicago, IL - 60-65% travel St. Louis, MO - 60-65% travel Kansas City, KS - 60-65% travel Cincinnati , OH - 60-65% travel Cleveland,OH - 10-20% Travel Boston, MA - 10-20% Travel Seattle, WA - 30% travel Northern Cali - Fremont - 10% travel LA or San Diego 10% travel As a Field Service Technician, you have hands-on experience with installing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and inspecting the organizations monitoring equipment used in regulated environments. The Field Service Technician will ensure accurate calibrations and efficient execution of tasks, will actively engage with customers to provide updates on annual preventive maintenance, and address service-related issues. Key duties include diagnosing technical issues, performing repairs and calibrations on electronic and mechanical components, and using diagnostic tools to ensure accurate system performance. The position requires reading technical schematics, maintaining organized inventory for service needs, documenting data for IOQ protocols, and providing clear communication and updates to customers. This role also involves collaborating with technical teams to resolve complex issues and traveling to customer sites within the assigned region to deliver reliable and timely service. This position is a travel role within your region. Travel will be by car and is about 80-90%. You will be home most weekend and working at projects during the week. Employees can be on projects for weeks at a time so you will need to be comfortable traveling and staying overnight hotels. Compensation $60-75K salary depending on region ( West Coast 70-80k ). There is $70/day per diem and mileage reimbursement so you will need reliable vehicle. There is a quarterly Bonus and also Bonus for Overnight stay.
