Enterprise Resilience Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Resilience Specialist for a 12-month contract opportunity supporting Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs within a financial technology environment. This fully remote role is ideal for a detail-oriented resilience professional who enjoys partnering with engineering, risk, and business stakeholders to strengthen operational readiness across cloud-native systems.

The Enterprise Resilience Specialist will play a key role in coordinating Disaster Recovery planning, Business Impact Analysis activities, resilience documentation, and recovery testing. This opportunity offers meaningful visibility across technical teams, the ability to contribute to critical enterprise risk initiatives, and the chance to work independently in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and facilitate Business Impact Analysis activities and support the development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans.
- Partner with engineering teams to document Disaster Recovery Plans, RTO/RPO requirements, dependencies, backup strategies, and failover approaches.
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing, tabletop exercises, technical exercises, action plans, and remediation tracking.
- Maintain resilience documentation, templates, dashboards, program trackers, structured datasets, and GRC platform records.
- Schedule and facilitate stakeholder meetings, prepare agendas, manage action logs, and follow up to drive deliverable completion.
- Support the development of resilience standards, procedures, training materials, reporting, and program communications.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $60 to $80 per hour, with a maximum of $80 per hour.
- Contract Length: 12 months.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Work Location: Fully remote.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Coordinate Business Continuity, Business Impact Analysis, and Disaster Recovery planning activities.
- Partner with engineering stakeholders to document cloud recovery strategies, dependencies, and technical recovery requirements.
- Manage Disaster Recovery testing coordination, remediation tracking, reporting, and stakeholder follow-up.
- Maintain resilience records, dashboards, templates, and program data within GRC platforms.

- 3+ years of experience supporting Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs.
- Required experience with AWS and cloud-native environments.
- Required experience with GRC platforms and related data management processes.
- Working knowledge of Disaster Recovery concepts, including RTO/RPO, multi-AZ, multi-region, backup, replication, and failover.
- Experience working directly with engineering and technical stakeholders.
- Strong program coordination, project management, meeting facilitation, and follow-up skills.
- Experience facilitating BIAs, BCPs, DRPs, tabletop exercises, and resilience exercises.
- Strong Excel, data management, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and stay organized in a lean environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Financial Services, FinTech, banking, consumer lending, or other regulated-industry experience.
- Experience with RiskCloud or LogicGate.
- Experience with Archer, ServiceNow, Fusion, or similar GRC platforms.
- Familiarity with resilience standards, continuity procedures, control documentation, and audit-ready reporting.
