Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient scenarios and craft personalized treatment strategies
• Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, stability, and overall function
• Work in unison with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and at-home exercises
• Maintain comprehensive records of evaluations, treatments rendered, and patient progress in compliance with facility policies and regulations
• Engage in care team meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current physical therapy state license
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (such as in neurology or geriatrics) a bonus but not mandatory
