Job Summary

We do Davison's best work - our guys are that good, and Davison is the right kind of growing market. We would like you to come help us work on a good mix of cars, trucks, transit vans, and bucket trucks - you will not be bored. We run from 7-5 and close up on the weekends! (unless you need to work on your own stuff). We will have things like anual fishing competitions, and cookouts etc.

Our advisers are great at selling your reccomendations, and we have a LOT of systems in place designed to keep YOU productive.

We are seeking a skilled and certified Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles (domestic and foreign)
• Conduct inspections and identify mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete routine services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot vehicle problems
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to service advisors
• Ensure all work positively impresses customers
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Stay up to date with evolving automotive technology and repair techniques

Qualifications

• State certification (required ) You will need some hd certs for our medium duty customers.
• 2+ years of automotive repair experience
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• drug free
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and bring your own hand tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Positive, friendly, and genuinely eager to learn and improve.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with computerized diagnostic tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with noise and varying temperatures
